Dan is a founding partner at DNA. Dan is a key contributor to the agency’s strategic and creative offering, having an intuitive talent for finding a needle of truth within a haystack of information – helping guide integrated teams to turn these into surprising, engaging and compelling business solutions for clients.
After working nearly 10 years as a writer in various Seattle agencies, Dan founded McMath & Gross at the tender age of 30. The firm grew quickly, becoming a 25-person, full-service agency within two years. Attracted by integrated work for Cellular One, KeyBank and other clients, Herring/Newman acquired the agency in 1993.
The creative architect of many of DNA’s most well-known campaigns, Dan’s work has been honored by Creative Arts, The One Show, the ADDY Awards, the Art Directors Club and other major shows.
