Dan has over a dozen years of experience in brand strategy, planning, and insights; time spent collaborating with clients from high fashion to high tech, heavy industry to gaming, Fortune500 to challenger startups. His focus is in guiding businesses to discover what motivates their customers, defining a unique and compelling position in their minds, and developing the experiences that reinforce the brand at every touchpoint.
Dan realizes a sharp distinction between observations and insights, and believes that practicing strategy isn't just stating a brand's potential, but mapping a path from the status quo to the ideal position. He's most passionate about working with companies that inspire passion in their customers, too. Some of those include past clients like Nordstrom, NASDAQ, Sony, LexisNexis, Intel, Agilent Technologies, Skype, Kenworth, and Virgin Atlantic.
When he's not workshopping or powerpointing, Dan can be found kayak fishing and backpacking around the Northwest, walking his German Shepherd along the water, and rooting for the Kansas Jayhawks around neighborhood sports bars.
