Alan began his career on the client side, in consumer marketing and advertising at packaged goods giants and brand leaders Procter & Gamble and Pepsi-Cola. In 1989 Alan went agency-side, leading relationship marketing campaigns for American Express Publishing, General Motors, Sheraton Hotels and Westin Hotels & Resorts. In 1998, he co-founded DNA with the goal of leveraging consumer insights into great creative campaigns.
